佩滋堡(Château de Pez)位於波爾多的St-Estèphe產區，是本地歷史最悠久的莊園；在十六世紀由著名的Pontac家族(當時也是Haut Brion的主人)開闢了它的葡萄園。它長久以來都被視為波爾多中級酒莊的領導者之一，也因此香檳名門Louis Roederer在1995年將它購置下來。2003年官方公布的中級酒莊名單中，它被列為最高的Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel等級。
本酒莊的面積有48公頃，包含42公頃的葡萄園，採行永續經營農法栽培葡萄，種植的品種為Cabernet Sauvignon 45%、Merlot 48%、 Cabernet Franc 4 %、Petit Verdot 3 %；平均樹年齡28歲以上。2018年份是波爾多非常優異的年份，因此使用較往常更高比例的Cabernet Sauvignon。在木槽(70 %)和不銹鋼槽(30 %)中發酵；熟成使用30 %新桶，其他是一年及兩年舊桶；桶中熟成12個月。
2018 de Pez是本酒莊有史以來最好年份之一。它的色澤呈現漂亮的深紅帶紫。聞起來有甜美誘人的黑醋栗、藍莓漿果香氣，伴隨著花卉、菸草的氣味。單寧結構相當紮實，但是並不生澀，酒質濃郁飽滿，甜美圓熟的果味讓口感非常討喜，但是也有良好的陳年潛力，經過適當陳年會更加美味。建議適飲期是2021到2035年。
A blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 49% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot, the deep garnet-purple colored 2018 de Pez leaps from the glass with vibrant black cherries, ripe blackberries and blackcurrant pastilles notes, giving way to nuances of black olives, lavender and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate offers nicely rounded tannins and a lively backbone to counter the bold fruit, finishing savory.
